Manchester Compliance Ltd was founded in 2020 — the same year the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations made EICR testing mandatory for all rental properties. From the start, we identified a clear gap in the market: property managers and estate agents needed a single, reliable electrical contractor who could handle everything — from EICR testing and remedial works to emergency callouts and fire safety — with the speed and professionalism the industry demanded.
We built our entire operation around that need. While most electrical contractors serve domestic customers and take on occasional landlord work, we focused exclusively on the property management sector. That focus allowed us to develop streamlined processes, rapid turnaround times and the kind of communication that agents actually rely on.
Today, we serve over 60 estate agents, property managers, block managers and facilities management companies across Greater Manchester and the North West. Our team of NICEIC-approved engineers operates daily across the region, delivering same-day EICR certificates, rapid remedial works and emergency callouts that keep portfolios compliant and tenants safe.
In 2024 we expanded into specialist house rewiring, becoming one of the few companies in the North West to complete a full house rewire — first fix and second fix — in just one day. This service has quickly become a cornerstone of our offering, helping landlords and homeowners avoid weeks of disruption.
