It’s been an incredibly busy start to 2026, and we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to every single member of the Manchester Compliance team — our electricians out on the road, our office staff behind the scenes, and everyone who keeps this company running.
In this post, we’re looking back at what’s been a brilliant few months, the work we’ve been doing across Greater Manchester, and why we’re so proud of the team we’ve built.
A Busy Start to the Year at Manchester Compliance
Since January, the team has been flat out across every area of the business. As a result, we’ve completed hundreds of EICRs, full house rewires, remedial works, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and compliance packages for landlords, letting agents, and Build to Rent developers right across the North West.
Furthermore, our engineers have been working in all conditions — early mornings, long days, multi-property schedules — and the standard of work hasn’t dropped for a single job. That takes real dedication, and we don’t take it for granted.
Similarly, our office team has been juggling bookings, tenant access, certificate turnaround, and client communication without missing a beat. Consequently, we’ve been able to keep our Trustpilot rating at 4.7 stars and maintain the level of customer service our clients have come to expect.
What the Team Has Been Working On
It’s not just the volume of work that’s impressed us — it’s the range. Here’s a snapshot of what Manchester Compliance has been delivering so far this year:
EICR Testing and Remedial Works
Our core service continues to grow. We’ve carried out EICR inspections on everything from single-bedroom flats to large HMOs and commercial units. In addition, our engineers have been flagging and fixing issues like non-fire-rated downlights — a hidden fire risk we regularly find during inspections — and making sure every property meets the latest standards.
Full House Rewires
Our rewiring team has been delivering what we’re known for — full house rewires completed in just one day. First fix and second fix done same-day, with the plasterer following on day two or three. For homeowners, this means minimal disruption and a fully compliant electrical system in record time. You can read more about how we do it in our house rewire service page.
Training and Professional Development
We’ve also invested heavily in keeping our engineers at the top of their game. With BS 7671 Amendment 4 and the updated EAS competency requirements both arriving in October 2026, the team has been completing training sessions, CPD courses, and internal technical reviews. We covered this in detail in our recent blog on EICR training and ongoing CPD.
Certification and Technology
Behind the scenes, we’ve also been reviewing and improving the tools we use. As a result, our engineers are using the best digital certification software available to make sure every certificate is accurate, compliant, and delivered fast. We compared the leading platforms in our blog on electrical certification software.
Thank You to Our Electricians
To every engineer on the Manchester Compliance team — thank you. You’re the ones out in the field every day, climbing into loft spaces, testing circuits, rewiring properties, and keeping people safe. Your professionalism, technical skill, and attitude on site are what make this company what it is.
Specifically, the feedback we get from clients about our engineers is consistently outstanding. Comments like “extremely friendly and efficient,” “professional, courteous, and tidy,” and “kept me in the loop throughout” come up again and again. That’s a direct reflection of the people we have on our team, and we couldn’t be more proud.
In particular, the way our engineers represent Manchester Compliance on every job — wearing the uniform, arriving on time, explaining their findings, and leaving properties spotless — sets us apart from the competition. Therefore, we want every one of you to know that your hard work is noticed and appreciated.
Thank You to Our Office Team
Great electrical work means nothing if the scheduling, communication, and administration isn’t there to support it. As a result, we owe a massive thank you to our office team, who keep the whole operation running smoothly behind the scenes.
From managing hundreds of bookings, coordinating tenant access windows, chasing certificates, and handling client queries — the office team does it all with a smile. Furthermore, they’re the first point of contact for many of our clients, and the feedback we receive about how helpful, responsive, and professional they are speaks volumes.
Above all, it’s the teamwork between our office staff and our engineers that makes Manchester Compliance work. One doesn’t function without the other, and the way both sides pull together — especially during busy periods like this — is something we’re genuinely grateful for.
Looking Ahead: The Rest of 2026
The year is still young, and there’s plenty more to come. Here’s what’s on the horizon for Manchester Compliance:
- Preparing for Amendment 4 — all engineers will complete their BS 7671 Amendment 4 training ahead of the October 2026 deadline
- Growing our team — we’re looking to bring on more qualified EICR engineers to meet increasing demand across Greater Manchester
- Expanding our Build to Rent services — delivering full compliance packages for new developments, from EICRs to emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Continuing to raise the bar — investing in training, technology, and customer service to make sure every client gets the best experience possible
Ultimately, none of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of the people who make up this company. So once again — to every electrician, every office team member, and everyone who plays a part — thank you.
From the Manchester Compliance Team, for the Team
At Manchester Compliance Ltd, we’ve always believed that looking after our people is just as important as looking after our clients. When the team is happy, motivated, and supported, the quality of work speaks for itself — and the reviews from our clients prove that every single day.
Here’s to a brilliant 2026. Let’s keep going.
