Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
No. All prices listed on this page are exclusive of VAT. VAT at 20% is added to the final invoice. For example, an EICR at £120 + VAT would be £144 inclusive of VAT. We always make the total clear on your quote before any work begins.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. Manchester Compliance does not charge call-out fees for any of our standard services across Greater Manchester. The price quoted is the price you pay. There are no hidden charges, no travel surcharges and no additional administration fees.
Do you offer discounts for multiple properties?
Yes. We offer portfolio discounts for estate agents, property managers and landlords managing 5 or more properties. The more properties you need testing, the better the rate. Email us with your portfolio details for a bespoke quote. We currently serve over 60 agents across Greater Manchester and the North West.
What is included in the EICR price?
The EICR price includes the full electrical inspection and testing of all fixed wiring, circuits, consumer units and accessories. You receive a same-day digital certificate (the EICR report), a detailed fault report listing any C1, C2 or C3 observations, and recommendations for remedial work if required. The inspection is carried out by an NICEIC-approved electrician to BS 7671 (18th Edition) standards.
What if my EICR fails — is the retest free?
If your EICR returns an unsatisfactory result and you instruct Manchester Compliance to carry out the remedial works, we include the retest and updated satisfactory certificate at no additional charge. You only pay for the remedial works themselves. We provide a clear, itemised quote for any remedials before starting work.
How do I pay?
We accept bank transfer (BACS), card payment and cheque. For estate agents and property managers with ongoing portfolios, we offer 30-day account terms. Invoices are issued digitally on completion of work and can be paid via the link in your invoice email.
